Prime Minister’s Fellowship for Doctoral Research scheme

Prime Minister’s Fellowship for Doctoral Research scheme got a recent boost. As Apex Council member, I am glad to strengthen it with Industry linkage. In #STEAM (traditional STEM+Agriculture) areas. Each year 100 fellows. Higher than normal scholarship, with 50:50 coming from Industry and DST-SERB/Inst. The scheme was launched in 2012 in a #CII event where we panel-discussed on #IndustryInstituteInteraction. Since then ~125 fellows have been selected and now the scheme is on its growth spurt. Industries are welcome to provide relevant problems and collaborate with Institutes in an emerging topic.
