From #IEEE #ComSoc, we organized a #5G workshop: ‘Intelligent Transportation System’ (#ITS). My talk on ‘Vehicle-to-Everything Communication’ covered enabling technologies and activities of five work groups of 5G Automotive Association (#5GAA).
On top of driver assistance and safety, features like see-through (to know how is in front of big vehicle), taking care of vulnerable road users, platooning are some interesting features of #V2X. We also discussed about making it an annual workshop and initiate pilots in campuses to study how Indian cities like #Bengaluru could benefit.
